In some states, the number of retirement teachers is down and in others, it is up. This thing happens due to the policy of cuting funding as well as political reasons. While retirement incentive programs that encourage senior educators for early retirement, the financial benefits in salary savings disappear within five years for new ones. So, all the solutions are not really effective.

The Department of Education for Hawaii recently announced that it expect to hire half as many teachers to fill vacancies this year compared to normal. The reason for the lack of new teachers is that current teachers are not retiring in the numbers seen in the past.

The state of Michigan offered early retirement incentives this past spring in the hopes of attracting 29,000 teachers into retirement. The tally when the deadline for application passed was about half that number. Clearly, teachers are choosing to stay in the classroom rather than accept early retirement incentives.

The trend of declining retirements among baby boomer teachers is probably traceable to the collapse of their retirement accounts in the last two years. Add to this revenue shortfall for their personal finances, many of these teachers may have second homes whose value has fallen dramatically. Finally, the cost of health care is a much more pressing consideration for the baby boomer at this point in their careers. Putting it all together, teachers are seeing the prospect of retirement as less feasible given their personal fiscal position and uncertainty with the economy. At a recent meeting with a financial advisor the need for good financial planning was made clear. Teachers need to know what income per month they will be receiving upon retirement and what expenses will be occurring into retirement.

At least one state is seeing the opposite occurring. In New Jersey the retirement applications are on a trend to double this year. With Governor Christie squeezing state spending in order to balance the budget, teacher pensions are expected to come under scrutiny. This seems to have convinced more than a few teachers to jump ship before the state can cut their promised retirement pensions.

Whether teacher retirement is increasing or decreasing in a state or region, positions will open up for new teachers entering the field. They will come out of schools of education with fresh ideas and grand visions. They cannot replace the wisdom of a veteran retiring teacher, but we all had to start somewhere, so why not we see what they can do?

Blogging is an effective way to earn money online. You could start by setting up a blog and making sure that there is enough traffic going on. There are free blog hosting sites such as Blogger and WordPress that allow you to put up a blog of your own without paying. There are also other blog hosting sites that require you to pay some fees before you could set up your own blog.

If you don't want your free accounts, there is an option to upgrade to premium. Having a premium account is especially useful in network marketing because you would have more control over your account. By premium I mean owning your blog under your own hosting plan. Both free and premium accounts, however, can be effectively used in Internet marketing.

The pros of blogging in making money could convince any average person to set up a blog and start gathering traffic. However, there are also cons to blogging so it does not mean that once you have set up your own blog account, you would be able to earn money instantly.

One of the most obvious advantages of blogging is that it could be done for free if that's what you want. Even with a premium account, the fees are still very low. Also, using a blog in Internet marketing is essential for building credibility. People could easily read your posts and start building a relationship with you right on the spot.

Consider the fact that this is something that you are not bound to do forever. If you feel that it is not working anymore, then pull out, it's that easy. Your working time is also flexible since you are operating your own business, no one would tell you what to do and when and when not to work. Everything will be under you and you will have the freedom to do anything you want with your business. You want to sleep the whole day and work at 4 in the morning? No problem, you are free to run your business however you want.

You will also have the advantage of making money from what interests you. In blogging it is recommended to choose a niche where you would pick topics to write about. Of course, you would not choose a niche that you know absolutely nothing about, instead choose something that surely interests you. This would give you the opportunity to actually enjoy running a business by contributing in making it a profitable one.

There are many ways to monetize a blog. You could have Google AdSense ads on it, advertise with banners for other businesses, promote affiliate products, etc. Choose the method that you feel more comfortable with and continue to post frequently to bring the necessary traffic and establish credibility with your readers.

Now we get to the single yet really troubling con of blogging for money. Setting up a blog is easy but making it a profitable one is not. You have to work really hard in order to succeed in this field. Money is not a crucial factor in making it big in this business but hard work is. Without effort, you would not be able to drive traffic to your website, and without traffic, the existence of your blog would be pointless.

To avoid having a failed blogging business, just work hard and do everything you can to make your business thrive. Post articles and content that will help your readers in some way. Share valuable information, keep your readers entertained and always looking for more. Select a posting frequency and stick to it. If you are a beginner, I recommend updating your blog once or twice per week. But remember always post valuable information if you want to enhance your reputation and continue to bring traffic.

After months of internal bleeding and frequent visits to the hospital, the mystery is finally over. The doctor called with the diagnosis on my condition. After hearing the news i could not help but reflect on everything that I have experienced in the last 25 years and how i got to this point in my life. The purpose of my vlogs as a whole are simply to provide a personal perspective and exemplify the way i have lived my life in a positive and meaningful way, focusing on how i have experienced as much as i could within the amount of time given. One of my most requested videos is about how i got to where I am today so i figured this was a good time to make that video. If there is one thing i want you to remember, it can be summarized by the following quote: "It's not the years in your life, but the life in your years that count."

Blogger and Blogspot are actually both owned by Google but they do two rather different things. It's hard to look at Blogger vs Blogspot as they are different services.

Step # 1 -- Blogger

First, let's explain Blogger. This is the standard blogging service from Google. If you visit "www.blogger.com" you will see your blogs dashboard (if you don't have a blog you will be able to log in and create one). You can use Blogger to create posts and put them online -- this is essentially what Blogger is -- a straightforward blogging platform.

Step # 2 -- Blogspot

Now, Blogspot ties in very closely with this is it is where the blogs from Blogger are actually hosted. So, when we click on the "View blog" button in our Blogger dashboard we will be taken to a URL that has ".blogspot" in it, following on from your blogs chosen name. This is essentially what Blogspot is -- the place that Google hosts your blog.

Step # 3 -- Custom URLs

Until recently it was possible to use Blogger but not Blogspot, by using Blogger to create your blog but hosting it on your own site. Now users have to use Blogspot to host, but they can buy a custom URL if they wish. This can be bought by going back to the Blogger dashboard, clicking the "More options" icon, then clicking settings. Click "Add a custom domain" on this page to get more information about buying an address. This has just been a quick rundown of Blogger vs Blogspot.
