Blogging can be tricky sometimes right? There are a lot of different terms, different outcomes, different strategies and you should be aware of everything so you can know how to choose the best option for your case.

In this video we're going to talk about affiliate marketing, passive income and some best practices you should be adopting when it comes to blogging.

So, for those who don't know, "Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments), the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the customer. The market has grown in complexity, resulting in the emergence of a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third party vendors." Good advice.

  • Darrel Wilson says:

I think they have both pros and cons. The PRO is you dont have to run a business or hold inventory, its nice to see money just pop in the account automatically. The CON is you are at the mercy of the company. Ive been screwed so many times by companies being an affiliate. Ive been stripped commisions several times and theres nothing I can do about it. You might want to point out those pros and cons in your videos 🙂
