Please visit my newer channel for ALL things blog related as I no longer post this type of video here.

Due to SO many emails/comments about this, I decided to make a video to show you how to create a custom header image with clickable image links in Blogger! NO, this tutorial does not use image maps!! Image maps are oldschool and you don't need them and shouldn't ever use them in your navigation bars! (See my post here:
If you are getting white spaces between your images, add this bit of code to your CSS:
img {vertical-align:top}

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was super easy to follow and helped me achieve exactly what I was wanting!! However… There are three horizontal gaps in my header where I sliced the image in Photoshop… How do I remove these spaces? (They didn't happen where I cut the image vertically, only horizontally.) Here's a link to my blog so you can get a visual of what I'm talking about:

    Thank you in advance for helping me with this! I've tried searching for how to correct this, but nothing has come up. :(

    Wow, that was really great!!  I have just a bit of knowledge of HTML, so I understood everything you did there, but I know nothing about CSS or Photoshop.  Still, I was able to understand everything you were doing.  I will check out your new channel.  I did want to ask: 1) why did you chose Blogger instead of WordPress? and 2) do you know any freeware alternatives to Photoshop for Mac users?  (I know you are a PC user, but I thought I'd ask b/c someone reading this may have a recommendation.  Thanks again!

    Hi! Thanks so much for your tutorial. I was wondering if the same concept could be replicated using picmonkey instead of photoshop. Do you happen to know? Thank you!
