You thought of the best idea for your next blog article. But you're stuck...

And that's why you're here. You're here to learn how to start a blog post.

The good news is that it's really easy to do. The bad news...

You have to hook your readers in less than 30 seconds (or 150 words) if you want them to actually read what you have written. Whether you're starting a business blog post, a personal one or a lifestyle article, this exact strategy in the video will show you exactly how to write blog posts that get people hooked.

This is one of my favorite blogging tips, but be warned: Learning how to blog comes with a lot more challenges than opening it with a solid introduction.

Don't be discouraged if you haven't seen traction through your blogging yet.

Writing a blog effectively requires a strategy . This video shows how to start a blog post with a strong opening that will hook your readers within your first 150 words.

A strong introduction for each blog post will ensure that the rest of your content gets read. Whether you're using WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr or another blogging platform, this strategy is proven to increase visitor's time on your blog and make your blogging efforts worth it.

Try implementing one writing tip at a time and in no time, you'll be a better blogger.

    I love your videos Sam.

Sam, as usual love your M2M episodes. Now here's the real question that I see is a conflict with others that have written about blogging (and you know who I'm talking about, the folks that introduced me to you). They look at using blogging to help SEO and get Google to find your blogs of interest. They say to do this your blogs should be at least 300 words. However, you're point is that it should be close to half of that (I happen to agree with you). So, how does this affect Google ranking your blog content?

Hey thanks for the info! I have done a few blog posts but I have a lot to learn.I was struggling to pick a niche but I think I´m going to go with Health and Fitness and Fashion as I guessed most women when they´ve lost weight go crazy and buy lots of clothes they´ve not been able to wear for ages(I know I have and do!lol). So my question is how can I maintain a balance between the two or should I just write and go with the flow and see if it works?Your feedback would be most appreciated. 🙂
