    Donna – without seeing your blanket, here is my best guess. I think you’ll
    want to seam the squares, then use the technique called “pick up and knit”
    to create live stitches on each side of the blanket. Then you can knit the
    border in 1 piece (with mitered corners), or four separate pieces. I have a
    video called “Knitting Help – Pick up and Knit” that may help. If you need
    more help, I suggest visiting your local yarn shop with your blanket (so
    they can see it), and getting help there.
