Based on this I started a blog. I JUST left my job to start a new business,
not based on blogging obviously, and I do think it can help me be
accountable for action every day knowing that someone just might be
reading. If you care to be that someone once in while, check it out.

Blogging still holds power, blogging with video embedded just makes you
feel closer to the author. I read Tom Peters books and listening to his
take on Blogging just made it more important to get our clients blogging
more. Thanks
Hello, have you considered “DotCom Success Maximizer” (google it)? There
you can watch a beneficial free video. He has in fact enabled me to earn
money on the internet. Hopefully it works for you as well…
You can use your Google+ public posts (try to write insightful posts with
more than 1000 characters to achieve what +Seth Godin says) 🙂 and if you
are a business, those public posts from your Google+ page.
Also, it is now easier to add conversational video content to it thanks to
hangouts on air 🙂 #communicate #share
Don’t forget to add some images or video either on + or in your blog.

*Seth Godin on Blogging…*
“Blogging is free. It doesn’t matter if anybody reads it. What matters is
the humility that comes from writing it. What matter is the meta-cognition
of thinking about what you’re going to say. How do you explain yourself to
the few employees – or your cat – or whoever is going to look at it? How do
you force yourself to describe – in three paragraphs – why you did
something? How do you respond out loud? If you’re good at it [blogging],
some people are going to read it. If you’re not good at it, and you stick
with it, you’ll get good at it. This has become much bigger than, “are you
Boing Boing or The Huffington Post?” This has become such a
micro-publishing platform that you’re basically doing it for yourself… to
force yourself to become a part of the conversation, even if it’s not that
big. That posture change, changes an enormous amount.”
*Tom Peters on Blogging…*
“I will simply say that my first post was in August of 2004. No single
thing in the last fifteen years – professionally – has been more important
to my life than Blogging. It has changed my life. It has changed my
perspective. It has changed my intellectual outlook. It has changed my
emotional outlook, and it’s the best damn marketing tool by an order of
magnitude I’ve ever had… and it’s free.”
This is a great clip. Totally changed my way of looking at blogging. A blog
becomes more like a personal diary to help formulate your thoughts. Thanks +Hillel

Our company is having a big 40th anniversary celebration (?) in Dallas in a
few weeks and they’ve invited me. I was around for most of those years so
it will be fun and a chance to see some folks I haven’t seen in a while.
One of the main speakers at the event is Seth Godin. I’m a big fan and I’m
very impressed that a) our management appears to be, too and b) that
they’re spending the big bucks I’m sure it takes to get Mr. Godin to show
up.
